TIC TAC TOE
The short documentary film TIC TAC TOE follows Do Ha Hoai, a sculptor, as he seeks to achieve harmony between his spiritual and material lives. Filmmakers documented the process of creating Hoai's works for the Dogma Prize. Throughout his profession, he had several financial and emotional hardships. But, in the end, he opted to abandon his ideal of living a balanced life in favor of gladly accepting the obstacles that always arise.
The film challenges the existence of artists and their labor. Does the world require artists? Are they and their efforts appreciated? How do artists survive?
The film was screened at the Lift-Off Sessions international film festival in the Trailblazers Shorts section organized by the Lift-Off Global Network.
